I’m so proud of this first time buyer client!

They were on a tight deadline to use a downpayment assistance grant from Hacienda and we closed the DAY the grant expired. I always love winning my clients over, but sometimes they start with another Realtor and sometimes they end with another. I was lucky enough to be reffered to this client by another, and was even luckier to step in in time to secure them housind in time, on budget, and with room to grow. This client inititally wanted new constuction and had put a few offers in on some. Divine intervention played a role in me showing them this home, that was a block from Mt Scott Park and their ideal location. I asked for some faith and the house ended up blowing us away. Was is mostly remodeled? Yes. Was is a double lot with endless possibilities down the line? Yes. Was it perfect in every way? No. But first time homes aren’t, and this one had 95% of the requirements and met 100% of the goals once a bit of work is done. Sometimes the newest shiniest things arent actually the best! In this case, I couldn’t be happier where this client landed and how we’ve become friends from such a strenuous transaction. Eye on the prize was a huge motto for this house!
