They did it! R+C (and baby L) got the home in the location of their dreams!

These two (plus baby) were looking for a big first time home. No downgrading from their current spacious, character filled NE Portland rental home. They wanted space for their current family, space to play, work from home, sleep comfortably and maybe expand into the basement area. Oh, and space for company!

Coming from the East Coast just like R+C, I know the importance of being in a vibey neighborhood to entice friends and family to visit- and revisit over and over (and maybe also move here too?). They also have a baby in tow and hope to have another! Schools became paramount. There’s this pocket in NE near Irvington (every first-time buyers’ dream) called Alameda- which is a little more afforadable and with the best schools and most walkable neighborhoods.

We tried our luck on a house in Sellwood that never sat well. We moved on and got under contract on this beauty in the same week. When you know what you want, you know what you want!
