My friends Kayla + David found the right home after a year of looking! And just at the right time before rates skyrocketed!

This process with K+D was so much fun! They’re both very down to earth and had VERY clear goals- either a garden or space to gaden. Kayla plans to spend her summers outside digging in dirt!

As much as they fell in love with some gardens over our time together, I am so happy they settled on this home- freshley remodeled and newer- with very few issues and a blank slate for a garden.

When you have specific goals in mind on a budget it can take a bit of time to settle on what feels like home. It’s really important to remember your first home isn’t your forever home- and the biggest thing to focus on is livablitily now and resell later.

You can love a garden, but it comes with a home that needs to sell later for you to keep climbing! Luckily gardens are a labor of love and not unattainable in most of the greater Portland area. This was a really heartwarming win for two amazing people. I can’t wait to see all the love they put into it!
